Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms apply to the website aneddo.com (and aneddo.it, aneddo.app, which redirect to it), to the Aneddo waitlist and to the free beta. By using the site or joining the waitlist you accept them. The Aneddo app and the paid pass will have their own terms of sale, which you will see and accept before any purchase.
1. Who we are
Protek di Davide Talevi, sole proprietorship (impresa individuale)
Registered office: Via Marinuccia 13, 60024 Filottrano (AN), Italy
VAT no. IT02033660438 · Registered with the Marche Chamber of Commerce (Ancona), REA no. AN-265397
Email: ciao@aneddo.com · Certified email (PEC): protek.talevi@pec.it
"Aneddo" is the name of the product. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Protek di Davide Talevi.
2. The site
The site presents Aneddo, an audio guide app still in development. Features, cities, languages, prices and dates shown on the site describe our plans and may change before launch. They are information, not a contractual offer.
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not try to break or overload it, bypass its security, scrape it in ways that harm its operation, or submit other people's email addresses.
3. The waitlist
- Joining is free and there is no obligation to buy anything.
- You must be at least 18 and use your own email address.
- "Get the pass" only records your interest. No payment is taken on this site and no purchase contract is formed. Any launch price will be confirmed in the app store before you pay.
- Joining does not guarantee a place in the beta. Places may be limited and assigned in order of sign-up, by city or at our discretion.
- You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to ciao@aneddo.com.
How we use your email is explained in the privacy policy.
4. The free beta
If we invite you to the beta:
- it is free, for personal use, and only for the period we indicate;
- it is a test version: features may be incomplete, change, stop working or be removed, and the beta may end at any time;
- you may be asked to install it through Apple TestFlight or a similar service, whose terms also apply;
- you agree not to share your access, copy or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows;
- if you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely to improve Aneddo, without any obligation to you. Feedback does not include your personal data, which stays covered by the privacy policy.
Before you use the beta app we will give you its own privacy notice, including how it handles location.
5. Stay safe while you listen
Aneddo is meant to be used while walking. Always watch the road and your surroundings, follow traffic rules, keep the volume low enough to hear what is around you and do not use it while driving or cycling. Stop listening whenever your attention is needed elsewhere. Directions and distances are indicative: always check signs and local conditions.
6. AI-generated content
Aneddo's stories start from sources we check, but live answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. They are general information for curiosity and entertainment, not professional advice (legal, medical, safety or otherwise). Opening hours, prices and availability of places may change: check them with the venue. We tell you when you are talking to an AI, as required by EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act).
7. Intellectual property
The site's texts, illustrations, animations, logos and the "Aneddo" name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may share links to the site. Any other use, such as copying, republishing or using the brand, needs our written permission. Trademarks of third parties (for example App Store, Google Play, AirPods) belong to their owners.
8. Links to other sites
The site may link to other services (app stores, social networks). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Our responsibility
We work to keep the site and the beta available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Since the site, waitlist and beta are provided free of charge, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses or for damage caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and the mandatory law of your country of residence.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms, for example when the beta or the app launches. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant we will tell waitlist members by email. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using the site and leave the waitlist at any time.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and the court of your place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction (art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code). In other cases the court of Ancona has jurisdiction.
Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved quickly. Consumers can also use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body recognised under the Italian Consumer Code.
